Difference between Apps and Programs
This has got me REALLY confused.

What is the difference, say, between a Windows App and a Windows Program?

Is an App the same as a Program?
Or is it that a Program has now become an App because of the abbreviated-world we now live in with stuff like Smartphones and lazy-English (texting/SMS) where "Program" is just too long a word to pronounce?

If there IS a difference between an App and a Program, where then does the border lie?
Is it the size that counts, its functionality and/or purpose or the expense?

If Windows Calculator is an "App" does it mean that Office Word is a "Program"? (one being larger than the other and/or one being free?)

Can anyone shed some light on this?
