I think I may have asked this question before but everyone is too lazy to respond with their piece of mind...
When and WHY did a "Program" become and "App"?
PROGRAM (7-characters) is shorter than an APPLICATION (11-characters) so WHY do we all drool over Applications?
Is it because APP is shorter than PROG in this world of utterly lazy hand-me-downs?
Even Microsoft has got onto the bandwagon by changing PROGRAMS to APPLICATIONS.
I would LOVE to know who decided all this crap.
I HATE "apps" - it reminds of all those utterly stupid programs out there that lazy people now depend on to check their heart-rate and whether they are sexually attractive on their phones.
